Located 4km from the centre of Chambéry, a small town in the heart of the Alps around the three lakes. The Campanile hotel in Chambéry is easily accessible by highway A43/A41 forwards Lyon/Marseille/Geneve.

Wonderful

I liked the rooms, they were comfy and cozy.

If you dont have a car, its quite far from the city, there a bus but comes once an hour and is a little far from the hotel.

Convenient location, lovely staff, great price/value

We are regulars as the hotel is perfectly located on our trip to snd from Switzerland. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are a fair size and the beds very comfortable. Great also as we can bring our dog. Restaurant is welcoming with its terrace and the surroundings allow a nice walk with the fog. Price value is excellent.

It works but it would be nice if the showers/bathrooms would get a little update. Change of shower screen and plugs, grouting renewed. It’s definitely tired and starts looking a bit shabby.

Nothing adverse, it was a pretty good budget motel.

Very Good

Convenient location. We have stayed here before and use as a stop over on the way to Italy. Really handy having a restaurant which means you don't need to start looking for places to eat. We were able to chill after a long drive before the last leg of our journey.

Very pleasant and relaxed.

The room was clean and tidy and the air con and TV worked, there was pressure to the water in the bathroom sink and the soap dispensers were full. The breakfast selection was good.

The cardboard cups provided for making tea and coffee are not really suitable for hot boiling water.

Lovely people at the reception who made us feel very welcome.

We were given a room on the second floor, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were offered dinner and breakfast at a reasonable price. The carpark is great - secure and plenty of room to unload our van and put our bikes together.

The room was a bit stuffy and we couldn't figure out the A/C so we opened the window. The hotel is situated along a busy road so it was quite noisy after that.

A great stopover

The location is good with a short drive to the historic centre that has lots of good value parking. The hotel is a campanile so you know what you are getting. A cabin room that is clean and functional which represents good value for money for an overnight stay.

Easy to get to. Clean room

Air con was broken and with temperatures so high was not great. Had to ask for a fan, it wasn't offered!! No restaurants etc in safe walking distance

Pleasant No Frills Hotel with Restaurant

This no frills hotel is clean with pleasant staff and an inexpensive restaurant.

It was a pity that the bar was not open for a beer after a long journey by car.

A great choice for a stopover to the Alps or Italy.

From the outside, it wasn’t very appealing - a bit tired and run-down in an area of cheap budget hotels. However once inside things were different - a clean and comfortable room with kettle provided, plus all the amenities you would expect in a 3 star hotel. Secure parking and a really good restaurant completed the package.
